  1. That’s a photo that looks like it could be a painting. Do you do any after-work on your photographs, in a graphics program, or are they ‘straight out of the camera’?

    1. Hello Val, thank you for visiting and commenting. Unlike most artists today who share how they create everything in tutorials and videos, I’m very old fashioned/traditional and don’t want to take away from any of the potential results of the final image with explanations or process. Happy Holidays, Douglas

      1. Please forgive any grumpy old man crotchetiness I may have conveyed. I am often at a loss fitting in to the very pubic and sharing world that has become the norm now.

      2. I know what you mean…. really I do. (And I’m in my mid-sixties, so not exactly a spring-chicken!) I’ve lessened what I do on most social media sites for that reason (amongst others). But I do share – well, up to a point – on my own blog as it’s rather different from my personal styles. (I’m both a ‘real media’ artist and digital, these days.)

      3. Thanks for your tolerance and kindness. Here’s to your continuing success and creativity. At our age it’s nice to have the ‘space’ to focus on more of what we love.
