Without his hand in America there would be no social network to dismantle. I would still be working as I approach 70, without health care. He was the dam that held back the forces of political and corporate kleptocracy. He was universally loved by Americans and hated by those in power. I’m sure he rolls over in his grave, daily. His own life story is a fascinating one – full of contradictions (he hid his disability from the public, he was unfaithful to his wife) , strange that he demand perfection from public figures these days yet few great figures (male or female) had perfect personal lives.

I hazard a guess no human being in the public sphere ever has had. / The press then was a different animal than today. Can you even imagine the press all working together to not disclose a disability to protect the image of a person in power? Another universe from now. Have a great rest of the weekend Emma!
