“wild, free, spontaneous”

For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous. Bricks to all greenhouses! Black thumb and cutworm to the potted plant! “

      1. 🙂 It;s well done however you did it. Gouache is a medium I love to look at but have rarely been able to handle (ditto acrylic when applied like this.) I’ve been an artist all my life, but more toward the transparency of watercolour when I’m using ‘real’ media.

      2. Val, I too really like the transparent mediums! I never was that successful with watercolor but love the look of glazes in oil painting – layer seen through layer. I tried Gouache many years ago and liked it but was at a point where the “flat” look was popular. Thanks very much for your positive comments – I do appreciate it. And it’s very nice to meet you. 🙂 Douglas
